Lance Heidig is a Reference and Instruction Librarian in the Library's Collections, Reference, Instruction, and Outreach department.
His work there is concentrated on the integration of traditional and digital library services, with a focus on web-based instruction.
He has been involved with the New Student Reading Project since its inception and has read all seven books that we have selected, led small group discussions for each book, and last year he wrote the Privileged Glimpses "blog" for our reading of The Great Gatsby, providing background and context for our readers.
He can be found at the Olin and Uris Library Reference Desks, in the Uris Electronic Classroom, or roaming in the book stacks. He is always planning or preparing for his next hiking trip to Colorado.
