Author and Librarian Lance Heidig

Lanceandabe_200_2 Lance Heidig is a Reference and Instruction Librarian in the Collections, Reference, Instruction, and Outreach department in Olin Library. His work there is concentrated on the integration of traditional and digital library services, with a focus on web-based instruction. Recent projects include the Uris Library Historical Tour podcasts and the Library's Book Collection Contest.

He has been involved with the New Student Reading Project from its beginning: reading all eight of the books, leading group discussions, and researching content for the book web sites. He wrote Privileged Glimpses for the Project's reading of The Great Gatsby two years ago and blogged about The Pickup last summer.
