Guest Author and Librarian Claudia Gilardoni

Claudia3_200 Claudia Gilardoni is a Chilean Librarian, who works as Chief Librarian at the Finis Terrae University (http://www.uft.cl/), in Santiago. Her main interests are library management, reading habits, information literacy and other related academic issues.

Claudia was a guest of the Cornell University Library in May 2008 and worked with the New Student Reading Project team. She helped with researching content for the Project web site and will keep in touch with the library staff here as a guest blogger.

In her free time, Claudia is always planning her next holiday in Southern Chile. Otherwise she is riding her bicycle, swimming, or enjoying a cup of tea and a good book.

She loves all Internet tools but loves books even more--"Nothing compares to the delight of a good book in your hands."
